Memphis, TN – Memphis Area Association of Governments (MAAG) announces the Rural Tourism Marketing Co-op Grant to promote rural attractions within the counties of Fayette, Tipton, Lauderdale and rural Shelby County in Tennessee. The grant provides tourism attractions, events and festivals the opportunity to expand the impact of their marketing message, increase visitation and increase travel-generated revenue. This co-op funding is provided by a partnership between MAAG and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development’s Developmental Co-op.
Rural Tourism Marketing Co-Op Overview:
- MAAG Budget: $10,000 ($2,500 max for each county)*
- 1:1 Match
- Support of TDTD “The Soundtrack of America. Made in Tennessee” campaign
Attractions, festivals, museums, and Tennessee Main Street organizations may apply to this competitive grant to help support their marketing plan. The application deadline is October 21, 2016 by 3:30 PM CST.
