May 22, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - May 24, 2018 @ 7:00 pm
The Mid-South Regional Resilience Plan Phase 2 Workshops are coming up this month. On behalf of the Shelby County Office of Resilience and the planning team. The Mid-South Regional Resilience Plan is a key component in the ongoing implementing of the Mid-South Regional Greenprint Plan. The Resilience work is funded by a portion of the National Disaster Resilience Grant awarded to Shelby County in 2015 and is focused on understanding the climate- and weather-related threats to the region and the region’s current resilience capabilities.
The upcoming workshops will be held May 22 – 24, and will give participants a chance to weigh in on a draft set of recommended resilience projects, based on data and public input gathered during Phase 1. The workshops will provide a first glimpse at the strategies, policies, and projects proposed to mitigate the effects of and manage recovery efforts for future weather-related incidents in the area.
The workshop dates and locations are as follows – all workshops will be held from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
